Is it wrong that I’m shutting people out?
I just don’t feel like interacting with anyone.
if I haven’t replied to your texts, don’t get pissed or feel bad, cause I haven’t replied to anyone’s texts.
I must admit, since I got back from America I have been a little off.
Actually little would be an understatement. I’ve been completely off.
I didnt think people would accept me and my choice to cover my hair.
And I was right. There are a few people who were close to me who didn’t accept it.
They tried to talk me out of it. And now they are out of my life.
The sad part is that, they themselves are Muslims.
When people ask me why I chose this, I dont know how to explain to them that I am doing it for Allah. Being non-muslims, they wouldn’t understand. But the fact that they are still by my side means that they have accepted me for who I am.
And I thank the people who have stuck by me. May allah reward you.
